Question: Difference between molality and molarity??

Answer: The total number of moles of  solute present per liter  of solution is defined as the  molarity of the solution.   The total moles of a  solute present per kilogram  of solvent is defined as  molality . Explanation: Molarity is measured in  mol L-1 .  It is determined by the  volume of the solution . Molality is measured in  mol Kg-1 .  It is determined by the  solvent's mass. Molarity expressed mathematically M  is the number of  moles  of the solute divided by the volume of solution in liters.                                       M=n/v Molality expressed mathematically m  = Numbers of moles of  solute/Mass of solvent in Kg  is the mathematical expression.                      ...
